What we can do in the U.A.E?

In my opinion, I think that global warming is ignored in the U.A.E, maybe because we think that it cannot be warmer than it is now or maybe because the temperature of the climate didn’t change therefore there is no serious actions are taken on global warming. One of the things that we can do in the U.A.E is using public transportation means such as buses and taxi cars more and more so that we can reduce the high number of private cars which makes air pollution by CO2 emissions. Another action is using the solar energy to produce electricity, and I think it will be useful because the sun rises every day in the U.A.E in the whole year.

What I lernt from this project

In the project I learned many useful in formations about the environment and it problems. When I started doing this project I noticed that I have to know some in formations about air pollution and water pollution, because there is a relationship between them and global warming. When I wrote about the causes and effects of global warming I realized that one cause may result in many dangerous effects on the environment and on the wild life and I really was afraid from this summer. At the end I want to say that the main cause of global warming is the human and he will be the first effected.

One effect

The effects of global warming are several, but I would like to talk about ice melting. Ice melting is a real disaster because ice is important to reflect the sun rays and losing ice will make these sun rays to stay in the space between the earth surface and the atmosphere which will make the temperature to rise more and more. Another problem is that ice is considered as one of the fresh water sources and when it melts we lose it because it mixes with the sea water which is not fresh. Scientists say that the size of the ice burgs under the water equals four times the size above the water, so if this amount of ice is melted it will raise the sea level which will result in floods which are dangerous on human and properties.

Effects of global warming

The effects of global warming are so dangerous, and in the last decade scientist and people felt that the temperature increased especially in cold areas. In the summer Europe countries are suffering from global warming and in the last 5 years children and old people are dying from the heat. The increase of temperature make the ice in cold areas and the ice burgs melts which will lose the earth the ability of cooling it self. Another effect is that the rise of temperature made the life hard for the polar animals such as the polar bears, penguins and the white falcon which made the number of these animals recedes because the weather became hot according to them even if we are freezing when we go there. The above effects are strong proofs for people who doesn’t believe that there is global warming.

One Cause

There are several causes of global warming, but I am going to explain about deforestation which means the remove of trees from forests. Trees are removed by different ways, forest fires is the most dangerous way because when trees are burnt the absorbed carbon dioxide in them spreads out into the air. Human made a very strong influence on deforestation, in the last 20 years the use of wood increased sharply because wood is important to make many things such as paper, home furniture, houses and many other things that we use daily. The remove of trees with it different ways ends with an environmental disaster because as I explained above the amount of CO2 will increase in the air and trees as known produces Oxygen and absorbs the carbon dioxide, so if we lose them we will lose Oxygen and we will get more CO2 which results in increasing temperature.

Causes of global warming

To know the effects and to find the solutions of global warming, we have to know the causes. There are different causes, but at the end they all result in raising the amount of CO2 which increases the temperature. One main cause is deforestation, green lands are so important because they reduces the rate of CO2, and produces Oxygen which is the most important gas in the air because it helps the life to continue on earth. Green house gases are dangerous on the environment because the emissions of the green house gases are CO2, methane are not allowing heat to spread out into space. Naturally, the incoming radiation must equals the outgoing radiation, but the green house gases makes a blanket around the earth which not allows amount of heat energy to escape which makes the earth surface warmer.

Global warming

Global warming is defined as the increase in the average of the earth’s atmosphere temperature which is enough to change the climate of the earth.
From the definition of global warming we can notice that the temperature of the earth is increasing which made some ice areas to melt rapidly, and US scientists say that the Arctic ice cap may completely vanish by the end of the century. The result of the ice melting is a climate disaster because if the amount of ice recedes it means that the planet cannot reflect the sun rays and cool itself. The main reasons of global warming are greenhouse emissions and air pollution so scientists say that we should use more efficient energy sources to protect our planet from global warming.
